Due to the current state of emergency with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and evolving concerns related to the spread of the Coronavirus, the Springfield Retirement Office will be closed to the public beginning until May 4, 2020. The closure of the office will not result in an interruption of the payment of monthly benefits to our Retirees and Beneficiaries. The next payment will be issued on March 31, 2020. Also, during this time, we will continue to be available by phone and by email, and will be responding to emails and voicemails as promptly as we can. Be sure to call the office at 413-787-6090 to speak to a Retirement Counselor if you would like to retire in the near future, and if you should have any questions or concerns during this emergency situation. We will continue to post updates regularly on our website. Thank you and stay healthy.
PLEASE NOTE: We will be extending the deadline for the 2020 Annual Affidavit for Retired Members and Survivors until further notice.
