Welcome to the City of Springfield’s Retirement System Website

As part of the Phase I reopening plan, we will be reopening to the public, by appointment only, along with other restrictions, beginning May 27, 2020. No walk-in traffic will be allowed in City Buildings. Members and Retirees will need to call 413-787-6090 to schedule an appointment, if business cannot be done remotely. These appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Certain arrangements may be made for emergency reasons only. We ask for everyone's patience and understanding. As part of the public health efforts, all visitors will have to provide their names and contact information for contact tracing purposes. Individuals must check in and give their names to make sure they have an appointment. Individuals will also be required to have their temperatures taken before being allowed into the building, and will not be allowed entry if the temperature is at or above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Click here for a quick overview for Entering Municipal Buildings. Be sure to call the office at 413-787-6090 to speak to a Retirement Counselor if you would like to retire in the near future, and if you should have any questions or concerns during this emergency situation. Thank you and stay healthy.

PLEASE NOTE:  We will be extending the deadline for the 2020 Annual Affidavit for Retired Members and Survivors until further notice.
